30 Paintings in 30 Days Go Sketchy!

I find I get in my head to much at times. Making it harder than it needs to be. I have done all the 30 and 30 challenges since Leslie started so I know how it is “to be fun”.

I started a new job 2 weeks ago. 6,7,8 grade art and Skills for Living instructor at our school. I knew last week with this new schedule, helping with jh soccer, still driving bus, AND studio responsibilities…painting was out. Sketches IN! I haven’t been able to sketch as much as I like lately either.

I felt too should have a theme. Something to lead me. When faced with a blank page ,canvas,a,meal, outfit… focus on what we want to say can be all that is needed to guide the rest. But BLUE? After reading over several challenge list samples, I can’t believe I was drawn to the word BLUE. BUT BLUE, Its one of my least favorite colors! I’m going with it anyway to learn where it takes me.
